Five common dental emergencies and what to do about them

1. Toothache troubles. Toothaches are often a sign that something is amiss, whether due to a cavity, infection, or gum disease. If you experience a piercing or pulsating discomfort, rinse your mouth with warm water to cleanse the affected area. Gently floss to eliminate any trapped food that could be causing irritation.
